Application by Shaw Satellite Services Inc to renew the broadcasting licence for its satellite relay distribution undertaking (BNC CRTC 2012-214: Item 2)
May 16, 2012 – ACTRA offers conditional support for the renewal of Shaw’s broadcasting licence; the conditions being that the Commission reject Shaw’s request to have the Conditions of Licence (COLs) relating to the contribution to Canadian programming eliminated and requires that Shaw’s contributions to Canadian programming as a COL be directed to the Canada Media Fund (CMF).

Application by Bell ExpressVu Inc. and Bell Canada, carrying on business as Bell ExpressVu Limited Partnership (Bell) to renew the broadcasting licence for its satellite relay distribution undertaking (BNC CRTC 2012-214: Item 1)
