David Gale serves as the Member at Large and sits on ACTRA National’s Council. David has been involved as a coordinator, moderator and instructor for ACTRA Toronto’s Conferences for last three years and was recently appointed chair of the conference committee. On television David hosted four seasons of Loving Spoonfuls and garnered both a Gemini & Galaxi Award for his hosting. He hosted, co-created and co-produced the series Second Time Around and shot a pilot for the daytime talk show The David Gale Show. Recorded media acting credits include The Tournament, Puppets Who Kill, The Newsroom and Zero Patience Some of David’s stage work includes Love and Human Remains, Hot Flashes and The Pirates of Penzance in Stratford. In 2006 Gale proudly hosted Toronto’s Dora Mavor Moore Awards. Gale has worked as a producer, director and writer for television and the stage. His award-winning musical Chutzpah à Go-Go played across Canada. Gale has emceed countless fundraising events and benefits, helping to raise money for a myriad of worthwhile causes.
