June 27, 2012 -Toronto – ACTRA is commemorating Multiculturalism Day with the launch of a new video From Reality to Set. The video, shot in Montreal, was produced by the ACTRA National Diversity Committee.

“At ACTRA we know diversity works for all of us,” said ACTRA National President Ferne Downey. “Launching our newest diversity video on Canadian Multicultural Day is a great way to help strengthen our mutual understanding and respect for each other.”

“Inclusivity is a national issue,” said ACTRA’s National Diversity Chair Jani Lauzon. “Our industry entertains and informs and our National Diversity Committee is using new digital platforms to promote the need to accurately reflect the rich cultural diversity of our Canadian society.”
