Nudity Survival Guide

Some actors and agents don’t pay attention to the regulations on nudity in film until they are in a crisis. Others feel there is a better chance of them getting struck by lightning than ever being involved in a nude scene.

Even those performers who are quite comfortable doing nude scenes have unpleasant experiences because they are afraid to talk about it, or afraid they will be perceived as “difficult.” Yet a situation is often improved when one is well prepared.

The Nudity in Film Survival Guide was produced by ACTRA Montreal as a candid, straightforward dialogue between ACTRA and its members. It offers some solid common sense advice on how to handle those awkward, stressful situations that sometimes happen when filming in the buff.
