Professional development is the key to succeeding in any industry – the film business is no different. ACTRA encourages its membership to pursue education as a way to hone performance skills and practice the craft of acting.

Every week, ACTRA Alberta publishes the ACTRA Alberta E News; within this electronic newsletter, we have a section on upcoming professional development opportunities and workshops available in Alberta.  In lieu of posting a list of workshop providers in Alberta, we are posting our latest edition of the E News so performers can see what workshops are being offered in the next week or two.

Please note – Independent workshops and other professional development opportunities listed in the E News are not audited or reviewed by ACTRA in any way. We are not responsible for any false claims that a course provider may make. This is simply a resource that performers can use to find out what workshops are out there; it is up to you to get references and investigate providers.

Performers can also join the ACTRA Alberta Facebook Group to see workshops that are listed by our members.
