Get Out and Vote!
This will be an election day like no other for Canadians and ACTRA Members have an important role to play in electing our next Canadian government.
To find out where and how to vote and who the candidates are, visit Elections Canada.
If you are voting in-person at an advance poll, at an Elections Canada office, or on election day, please ensure you review the health and safety measures Elections Canada has put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Other Ways to Vote
For ACTRA Members who are based outside of Canada or for those who do not want to vote in-person on Election Day, there are three voting options available to you:
- Vote at an advance poll between 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (local time) on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday before election day (September 10-13, 2021);
- Vote by special ballot at any Elections Canada office before 6:00 p.m. (local time) the Tuesday (September 14, 2021) before the election;
- Vote by mail.*
*ACTRA Members living outside Canada can review the Registration and Voting Processes for Canadians Who Live Abroad, which includes information about how to apply to be on the International Register of Electors, which will allow you to vote by mail-in special ballot in federal general elections, by-elections and referendums.
