TORONTO (June 26, 2025) – ACTRA’s National Council has re-elected Eleanor Noble to serve a third two-year term as National President.
“I am incredibly honoured to be re-elected as ACTRA National President and to serve this union standing shoulder to shoulder with our team of dedicated National Councillors from across this country,” said Noble. “My commitment to this union’s 30,000 members is to continue fighting for equity, equality, respect and dignity. I am committed to upholding the principles of union solidarity, knowing that we are stronger together. I will continue to work diligently to ensure that our collective strength translates into tangible improvements for us all.”
Eleanor Noble is an award-winning voice performer in animation with a successful career spanning theatre, film, television, animation, commercials and video games. She has served as ACTRA National President since 2021, leading negotiations on collective agreements that advance fair wages, safer sets, greater diversity, and respect for performers across Canada. Noble also actively lobbies the federal government in support of Canadian content and to strengthen protections around Artificial Intelligence. Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President of ACTRA Montreal, ACTRA National Councillor, and Chair of the ACTRA National Women’s Committee. Noble is a graduate of Dawson College’s Professional Theatre Program, The Dome.
The election took place during the June 25th bi-annual meeting of ACTRA’s National Council. The Council provides strategic leadership and sets national policy to represent the interests of ACTRA members across all nine branches nationwide.
