Have Your Say on the Federal Budget

ACTRA is encouraging members to participate directly in the Government of Canada’s 2026 pre-budget consultations, open until September 8.

The short questionnaire asks Canadians about financial pressures, affordability, housing, economic growth and other priorities for Budget 2026. It also provides an opportunity for performers to speak directly about the economic realities of building and sustaining a career in Canada’s audiovisual industry.

Your feedback will complement ACTRA National’s formal pre-budget submission. There is no prescribed response from ACTRA. We encourage members to answer based on their own experiences and priorities.
