ACTRA’s Constitution and By-laws prohibit union members from working on such productions.

Please be advised that the film We Are, produced by: Sanjay Routray (Matchbox Pictures), Shant Joshi (Fae Pictures), Sanjay Suri, Onir (Anticlock Films) and Executive Produced by Deepa Mehta, is not signatory to any ACTRA Agreement and is therefore a non-union Production. ACTRA’s Constitution and By-laws prohibit union members from working on such productions.

Please be advised that the short film, Impulse, produced by Sean Kuzyk and John Galen Wilson, is not signatory to any UBCP/ACTRA agreement and it is therefore a non-union production. UBCP/ACTRA’s By-laws and Constitution prohibit union members from auditioning for, or working on, any non-union production in recorded media. 

UBCP/ ACTRA has been made aware of a non-union TV series, Hitler’s Last Stand, that is being produced in BC. Union staff are reaching out to the engager in an effort to unionize this production.
