TORONTO, ON (March 19, 2021) — Canadian performers have ratified the terms of settlement reached between ACTRA and Game On Creative, Inc. with respect to the agreement covering performers engaged in video game production in Canada. The new agreement includes a three per cent increase to all rates in each year of the three-year Agreement and is retroactively in effect from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.

“I am proud of the strong cooperative and mutually respectful relationship ACTRA has developed with the Game On team,” said ACTRA National Executive Director, Marie Kelly. “We value the opportunity to work with a progressive partner like Game On who not only evaluated our agreement through a diversity, equity and inclusion lens, but also demonstrated a solid understanding of the importance of including language to strengthen intimacy protections for our members.”

“I believe in collaborative and healthy partnerships. Our relationship with ACTRA and its talented members has always been special for us and I am pleased with the pioneering efforts that we are bringing together in this new agreement,” said Game On Creative, Inc.
