TORONTO, ON — Eleanor Noble, ACTRA National President, appeared yesterday before the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage to sound the alarm about declining production of Canadian content and a proposal in Bill C-11, the Online Streaming Act, that could significantly reduce the requirement for foreign online undertakings to use Canadian creative and other resources.

TORONTO, ON – Professional performers in Canada who make commercials have overwhelmingly voted in favour of a one-year renewal of their contract with the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA). The renewal agreement will be in effect from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023.
